We are delighted to welcome Gracie Perkins, Wildlife Biologist with the ACE Basin National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR). Gracie earned her B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University in 2024, and her work includes grassland restoration, shorebird surveys, and invasive species management. She also enjoys birding and fishing in her free time.
Gracie will chart a course through the wonders of the ACE Basin, a nearby 100,000-acre wetlands national research preserve with cypress swamps, tidal rivers, wildlife, and recreational opportunities. The ACE Basin is the third-largest preserve of its kind in the U.S. and is a vital part of Lowcountry ecology. Learn more here: ACE Basin NERR
